The Franciscan is crafted of quartered oak solids and veneers, which highlight its beautiful low-sheen, medium brown grain. It authentically evokes the furniture style of early-century missions in California. Franciscan's tapered silhouette accentuates its mullion door and frame and wood panel construction along its sides. Franciscan's handsome face is an adaptation of an original mission clock, with numbers etched into the dial's solid brass surface. Weight shells and pendulum are antique brass finished. Franciscan's cable-driven movement plays Westminster chimes. A second hand and automatic night time silencer are included.
