Circa 1900. Premier German Manufacturer, Junghans. Considered a miniature because of it's size. The header is original including the Victorian ladies head. The case is walnut and in great condition. There are age nicks and some loss of paint on the header. Original finials and stabilizers. Some intricate detailing on the door frame sides. Dial is original paper, no loss of paint on the numbers, crackling on the white dial. R & A on the paper in the pendulum bob also has age crackling. 8-day spring movement strikes hours and half hours on a coil gong. Glass on both sides of the clock. A really attractive old world clock that will fit most any wall space. The movement has been professionally restored, pivots polished, bushings where necessary.
